community projects

At edea energy we believe that access to stable electricity is a critical enabler to provide better health, education, safety, prosperity and political stability.

In some communities, this just hasn’t been obtainable. We recognise this and complete feasibility, high-level planning and costings pro-bono to help get a project started.

After a project is proven feasible we look for additional funding to support the program. We source funding through grants, company corporate social responsibility programs, philanthropic programs and organisations, and individuals via gifts or crowd funding campaigns.

We partner with charities and NGOs to help rapidly electrify remote communities.  We also seek partners to help with supply of items that help maximise the benefits of our community programs. For example, with our electrification programs we may seek partners to assist with the supply of refrigeration, induction cooktops and LED lighting.
